I am Hernan A. Rossi, and for the last 24 years a Seattle,Washington state resident. In college, I chose science - Biochemistry , Medical Technology - for a career, and currently I work in the Blood Bank at Harborview Medical Center, the trauma center for the Pacific Northwest, located in downtown Seattle. I did not pursue a photographic career early in life, because of this, that and the other, but I' m sure I was born with a brain hard- wired for art . All I had to do to tap into this "program" was to listen to my artistic inner voice screaming for attention and then do something about it. I have been photographing for over 45 years, but it wasn't until recently that I finally learned the most import lesson that I can think of in photography, and that is learning how to to see, as an artist. I finally opened my eyes to the wonderful, beautiful, abstract world present everywhere I look, and to view those images for what they appear to be rather than for what they are. Basically, I greatly expanded my definition of ART.. . Currently I photograph ANYTHING that looks nice, interesting ,beautiful, or intriguing . Take a look !!
